加拿大安省中國美術會，將於2017年10月26日至29日，每天中午12時到下午5時，在Richmond Green Boynton House波頓小屋，舉行「烈治文山書畫小品展覽」，這次展覽是該會應烈治文山市議員廖立暉先生之邀請， 首次在該市舉辦展覽。
共數四十幅中西參展作品，全部來自該會的37位會員名家，按姓氏英文拼音序，包括:談錫永、勞允澍、徐啟明、周君勵、陳寶文、許錦屏、何銘深、何自力、黄昆明、黄金漢、郭葆樺、林睿智、李明、梁燕萍、梁燕玉、梁鈞樂、呂祐章、羅錦濤、羅滿、廖淑先、麥正、歐陽耀東、丘玉琰、施漢林、蘇楚楚、譚美容、鄧惠玲、伍川宇、夏榮生、葉雅鈿、於潁志、余爕勳、趙健俊、周世旭、曾日友、薛士圻、徐紅。
此次展覽地點波頓小屋 Boynton House，為安省法定保護的歷史文化古建築，深具歷史風貌。 為配合場地，展覽以小品畫作為主。小品畫幅較小，著重意境情思的抒發，自由隨意。而透過小品，畫家將生活剎那的感覺，以簡練的形式傳達出來。
今年安省中國美術會陸續安排會員作品在安省各市巡迴展覽 ， 希望能引發年輕一代對中國書畫的興趣 ，為中國傳統書畫藝術注入新血。
「烈治文山書畫小品展覽」將於10月28日星期六下午2時在Richmond Green Boynton House 波頓小屋舉行開幕禮，地址: 1300 Elgin Mills Road East, Richmond Hill, ON L4S 1M5。屆時，烈治文山國會議員 Majid Jowhari 及市議員廖立暉、 David West、Tom Muench及 Karen Cilevitz等等，將出席剪綵誌慶， 歡迎各界人士蒞臨參觀 。

Ontario Chinese Artists Association (OCAA) presents “Boynton House Lyrical Art Show.” The joint exhibition will take place Oct. 26-29 (Thu-Sun), 12-5pm, at the Richmond Green Boynton House (1300 Elgin Mills, Elgin Mills and Leslie). Invited by Richmond Hill City Councillor Castro Liu, this is the first time an OCAA show takes place at this venue.
It is OCAA’s mission to present many themed exhibitions throughout the year. The current show showcases “xiaopin” or smaller pieces by our members. The smaller paintings in the Chinese tradition can be lyrical and whimsical, which fits well with the historical setting at the Boynton House. The exhibiting artists include 37 OCAA artists including Master Tam Shek-Wing, Jeffrey Lo and among others.
This year OCAA has begun touring our members’ artwork throughout Ontario. Some Chinese traditions are impressionistic and abstract in the use of strokes and colours. Our goal is to arouse the interest of young Canadian artists in injecting new blood in the Chinese traditional arts.
Opening Ceremony will take place Oct. 28 (Saturday) at 2pm at the Boynton House.
