Organized by the Ontario Chinese Artist Association, the “2022 International Children’s Art Contest” has received a total of 106 works, and the judging work was completed recently.
This competition has a history of more than ten years in order to enlighten children’s artistic minds. Children under the age of 16 are invited to participate in the competition, and their works will be judged in four groups.
OCAA President Jordan Wu said: “We understand that many painting classes have been canceled during the epidemic, but we are glad that many art courses are presented online, which has opened up more people’s interest. Some of the entries in this competition are from Greater Toronto, Ontario and surrounding cities, some from Quebec, some from China, from Hong Kong and Malaysia. We thank the teachers and students for their beautiful works and wish everyone safe and healthy.”
All entries will be exhibited in OCAA from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm on 17th to 22nd, September, 2022.
「2022國際兒童繪畫比賽」賽果出爐
由加拿大安省中國美術會主辦，「2022國際兒童繪畫比賽」共收到106件作品，日前評審工作完成。
比賽已經十多年歷史，為啟迪兒童的藝術心靈，讓16歲以下兒童參賽，按齡分四組進行評審。
今年的評審團包括美術導師黄鉗灼、梁燕玉、呂祐章、徐啓明、郭葆樺，文玩商林天碩。他們在106張參賽作品中，選出金獎7名、銀獎10名，及銅獎18名。另有優秀獎及入選作品獎。
會長伍川宇說: 「我們明白疫情下，許多畫班受阻，却欣喜許多藝術課程在網上呈現，開啓更多人的興趣。我們說藝術豐富生命，在此疫情及經濟困惑當中，繪畫確實使人身心受益。這次參賽作品當中，有來自安省大多倫多市及周邊城市，有來自魁北克省，還有來自中國，來自香港及馬來西亞。我們感謝各地老師和同學們的努力，祝福大家平安。」
